The Atrium Wellness Difference

Are you looking for massage therapists who do real therapeutic massages? Well, you found the right place. Here, at Atrium Wellness there are no spa treatments per se, we do not have tons of product to sell you, and we use our hands instead of gimmicks. We are therapeutic massage with a touch of spa.

We do not up-charge for add-ons–if you need it you get it. All of our clients are treated with a muscle and joint blend of therapeutic oils including Basil, Himalayan Cedarwood and Black Spruce mixed into our massage lotion. Some have had an extra stress filled day so we us our relaxation oils of Petitgrain, Tangerine, and Lavender in the lotion. Others have problems with smells so we keep it simple and use plain lotion when they ask.

A cool eye pillow of organic lavender is placed on your eyes while you are on your back which helps you to slip off into ‘massage zone’. We gently lull you to relaxation with a table warmer, and when your muscles are extremely tense we use weighted moist hot packs to melt them into submission so we don’t have to dig.

Our Method

Atrium Wellness massage therapists specialize in pain-free deep tissue massages and advanced bodywork for eliminating stress, resolving chronic pain, maintaining an active lifestyle, or aiding in recovery from sports, accidents, injuries and even surgery. They concentrate on massage, not selling.

We do offer discounted annual memberships, however, unlike other establishments you will not be bombarded with offers. We have a sign in the massage rooms explaining them and you are always welcome to ask questions. If we feel you need on-going help we might suggest a membership, however it is a mere suggestion, we don’t push. After all, it is your body and your money to do with as you see fit, we are just here to offer help.

Our unique combination of massage modalities help to remove pain throughout your body, and decrease the negative effects of stress, while repairing damaged muscle tissue.

A Word from Annie Moore

Massage is for relaxation, sure, however it can be much more than that; massage can be for healing.

People chuckle when I say that massage can help because I say it about most everything. Well, the way I do massage it can help several things. Being an Orthopedic Manual Therapist puts me on the medical side of the massage therapy spectrum. My certifications include a 5-day cadaver lab, Clinical Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Neuromuscular Assessment and Treatment, and Medically Oriented Massage for Neck and Back.

My typical client comes to me by word-of-mouth and as a last resort. I have helped numerous clients who told me their doctor suggested surgery but they wanted to go a different route. Rather than just rub skin, my therapy goes deeper without leaving you in pain. I believe in taking your pain away and not giving it back.

One of my clients has severe scoliosis, curvature of the spine; she came in on a gift certificate but didn’t think I could help much other than to relax a bit. Rather than taking stairs one at a time as she did on the way up to our first session, she is now able to use them normally and has since our first session. She is again able to enjoy long walks, spend time with family without having to rest, as well as sit and sleep better with my therapy.

Are you experiencing pain? You may have just found your solution, take a look at the unsolicited testimonials on our website for more stories. You are welcome to schedule online or give us a call. The consult is free, if I can’t help I will tell you and you owe me nothing.

Have a tranquil day!
